All Cross Rail / WRRR / Chapter 8 vehicles are fitted with a 3 point day / night camera system and an in cab touch screen monitor ensuring the driver has full visibility of their vehicle.
Cameras are strategically placed around the vehicle, aiding the driver whilst motorway driving and when maneuvering, significantly reducing the risk of incidents. This system coupled with sensors placed on the vehicles and the turn left talk back system have proved to be a popular safety feature with all of our staff.
